About

Zoe is a Lactation Consultant & Registered Midwife on Gadigal Land (Sydney’s Inner-West)

Zoe grew up in the Inner West and continues to live in the area with her partner and two young children.

Zoe qualified as a Midwife in 2017 and works in both public and private hospitals in Sydney.

Although Zoe has always had a keen interest in providing breastfeeding support, her experience with breastfeeding issues herself provided further motivation for Zoe to become a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Zoe has also completed a course in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and is hoping to complete a Graduate Certificate that will allow her to gain prescribing rights as a Registered Midwife.

Zoe endeavours to provide evidence-based support and education. She has a particular interest in supporting LGBTIQ+ and Neurodivergent parents.

  • “Zoe set my daughter and I up for success. Within he first 20 min of her being here we had started feeding without shields and with a beautiful pain-free latch.  Zoe is so warm and reassuring. If you need help, look no further. Zoe is the human equivalent of a hot cup of tea and a warm hug when breastfeeding feels almost too hard.”

  • "I had been triple feeding for 7 weeks and I was exhausted. Zoe's advice was the circuit-breaker I needed. Zoe was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and practical. She empowered me to shift my focus and change my perspective of feeding. We have now been breastfeeding for almost 9 months and we definitely wouldn't be here without Zoe's input during that critical time. Highly recommend!"

  • "Zoe from Inner West Lactation is wonderful! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Feeding difficulties can feel really personal but she made me feel comfortable, empowered and heard. She has assisted me throughout a long and changing feeding journey and clearly cares so much about the mums and bubs she sees. Absolutely worth the investment."

  • "After two weeks of breast feeding I had damaged nipples which was making each feed painful and not enjoyable. Thanks to Zoe and her recommendations/advice. She saved my breast feeding journey. Highly recommend Zoe for any breast feeding concerns or issues!"
